AKKOORD
A neat duo for international folkmusic. Annelies and Bregje Tijman on violin and accordion play folkmusic from every region of Europe.
Our duo A+B=C-akkoord (chord) consist of Annelies Tijman-Bergisch and Bregje Tijman. Annelies plays the violin, the gadulka (Bulgarian fiddle) and melodeon. Bregje plays on the accordion. Ofcourse A+B means Annelies and Bregje! Annelies is specialized in North- and West-European folkmusic, Bregje is specialized in music from the Balkan, mostly Bulgaria. Together they can make a nice mix, titled ‘A trip through Europe’. The repertoire is mainly international folk(dance)music, but there can also be (old) Dutch songs. We are experienced dance musicians and besides just music we can also do a dance course or seminar (mainly material from West- and North Europe). With live music ofcourse! Further we can play on several occasions like small private concerts, parties, folkcamps, dance weekends and we could even play a funeral ceremony. You can always email us for more information.
