However the sons have an everlasting struggle with their mother Gryla. She has absolutely no understanding of their love for human beings.

Gryla will still try to steal children and eat them.

The "Santa's" are very unhappy about Gryla's wish to eat children. They have managed to make an agreement with her that she would eat only bad children.

Gryla sends her big black cat to get children for her. The cat is very careful and selects only the bad children and takes them to Gryla.

The cat and the "Santa's" always help eachother to take the children back to their parents.

The "Santa's" teach the children to be good. The children promise to behave and be good. Until now Gryla has not been able to keep one child.

The "Santa's" bring ev'ry year friendship, happiness, music and wonderful gifts and will keep on doing so.
