Yatha Ahu Vairyo

the Ahuna Vairya Mantra *:

Yatha Ahu vairyo, atha ratush ashat chit hacha,
Vangheush dazda manangho, shyaothnanam angheush Mazdai;
Khshathremcha Ahurai a yim dregubyo dadat vastarem.

Just as God's Will is to be chosen (by us), the prophet is in accordance with Truth (Asha) itself;
The gift of good mind is for those who work hard, for God, in life.
The Kingdom of God, the creator is granted to those who give support to the poor and the needy

* Nota Bene:  the colours of the words in each rule in the (top) Gathic version are the same as the colour of their translation in the corresponding rule in the English translation.

   According to the scriptures of Zorastrianism, the Ahuna Vairya Mantra is considered very sacred, because Ahura Mazda already uttered this manthra at the time of creation and manifested the whole creation.
This mantra is of such significance, that chanting of it is considered equivalent to chanting all the sacred texts. By chanting it continuously, forces of darkness both within and without can be driven away.

MEANING :

The first line of the verse says that just as the Divine Will, or Kingdom of Ahu (hu = good, Ahu = God, the All-Good) is ruling on earth and in the Universe, a ratu (a prophet, seer, wise (wo)man) will be sharing this power everywhere when living in Peace, in tune with Asha.
The second line of the verse says that the gifts of Vohu Mano are the just reward for those who work for the Lord of life. It means that Vohu Mano bestows his boons (love and purity of thought) upon those who indulge in good thoughts and good actions according to the Divine Will of God, His Law: ASHA.
The third line of this verse says that "
the Kingdom of God (Khshathra Vairya, the desired Kingdom of Peace) is coming" for those who consider themselves as helpers of the "poor" (meek and the lowly); it thus lays special emphasis on the concept of "Love your neighbour".
