I Thus Ahura Mazda spoke to Zarathustra :

“My glorious Stars come along and impart their gifts to Men.”

 [And Zarathustra spoke:]

II "Let us offer up invocation to the bright and glorious Stars, which give happy dwelling and good dwelling ! 

III The white, shining, far seen Stars, that are so  piercing, Health-bringing, high, so far piercing - with their shining rays : for their Brightness and Glory  I shall offer to them a sacrifice ! 

IV To the bright and glorious  Stars,  we offer up an Invocation : with Haoma, with Wisdom of the Tongue, with Holy Spells, with Speech and Deeds and with rightly spoken Words  we do sacrifice to the bright and glorious Stars that fly towards the Sea as swiftly as the arrow darts through heavenly Space.

V We invoke the bright and glorious Stars, that stand out beautiful,  spreading Comfort and Joy on the fertile Countries, as they commune within Themselves.” 

[And Ahura Mazda spoke:]

VI "If only men would invoke Me with a sacrifice, in which I would be invoked by My Name,  then I should come to the faithful at the appointed time.

VII Then I would come at the appointed time : with my beautiful, immortal Life, be it one night, or two, or fifty, or be it a hundred nights." 

 [And Zarathustra spoke:]

VIII “ We sacrifice to the Stars , that were made by Mazda ! 

X "Hail !" the bright and glorious stars cry : " Hail to You, o Waters and Plants !  Hail will it be unto You, o You Lands !"

X "The Life of the waters will flow down unrestrained : towards the big-seeded corn-fields, towards the small-seeded pasture-fields, and towards the whole of the Earthly World it will flow .

XI Then the bright and glorious  Stars do go back down to the Sea. He makes that the Sea does boil up and down,  He makes that the Sea does stream this way and that way. And the bright and glorious  Stars rise up from the Sea, XII and Vapors rise up from the Vales of the Mountains. Then the Vapors push forward in the regular forms of Clouds ;  pursued by the Wind along the Trail of Haoma - who makes the World increase. 

XIII The mighty Wind does follow behind - the Wind which was made by Mazda and the Rain with the Cloud , showering down to all the different places : down to the Fields,  down to the seven Kingdoms of Earth. 

XIV We invoke the bright and glorious Stars that move along their winding course, from the shining East , along the path which was made by the godly creatures, along the way which was appointed for them, the watery way, according to the Will of  Ahura Mazda, the Will of the Ahuras. 

XV We sacrifice unto the bright and glorious Stars, whose rising is watched by men  who live on the fruits of the Year, by men of deep understanding. 

XVI We invoke the bright and glorious Stars, for whom the standing Waters and the running spring Waters, the Stream Waters and the Rain-Waters are yearning . 

 XVII When will the bright and glorious Stars rise up for us ? When will the Springs, with a flow and an overflow of Waters, run to the beautiful places and to the fields, to the Pasture and even to the roots of the Plants, that they may grow with a powerful growth ?

XVIII We invoke the bright and glorious Stars that wash away  all things of fear and bring health to all Creations. 

XIX I will sacrifice to the bright and glorious Stars,  which  Ahura Mazda has established in Infinite Space. 

XX We sacrifice to those bright and glorious Stars, to which Ahura Mazda has given a thousand senses, and which are the most beneficent amongst the Stars, that have within themselves the Seed of Life and of Water. 

XXI We sacrifice to the bright and glorious Stars, for which all the Creatures of Mazda are  longing : those that live under the ground and those that live above it ; those that live in the Waters and those that live on dry Land ; those that fly and those that run in the plains ; and all those that live in the Waters and those that live on dry land : those that fly and those that run in the Plains ; and all those that live within this boundless and endless World of the Holy ASHA.”
