TRUTH AND JUSTICE

I The Holy Zarathustra did ask :

“O Holy Mazda ! I do pray You : answer with Your words of Truth,  You, Who know the Truth ; You, Who are undeceivable since You know all things :

II Which Holy Word is created True ? Which Word is created progress-making ? Which Word is worthy of discernment ? Which Word brings Health ? Which Word brings Wisdom ? Which Word brings happiness and more power than all other created beings ?”

III And Ahura Mazda did answer :

“ I will declare it to you, o Pure Zarathustra : it [that word] is the strong  ASHA, that will come for help to you !”

[And then Zarathustra proclaimed :]

IV "O You Holy ASHA, o most true  ASHA ! o You most beneficent ASHA ! You most knowing  ASHA ! You most discerning  ASHA ! You most fore-knowing  ASHA ! You most far-seeing ASHA ! V ASHA ! You, who are the best performer of the perfect Law ! In whatever part of the world You are, watching the doings of men and making the account, You are omniscient, o ASHA !

VI You, o Holy ASHA, are on the Tree of Life that stands in the middle of the  eternal Sea, that is called : the Tree of Healing ; VII the Tree of powerful Healing, the Tree of all Healing, and upon which rests the seeds of all we invoke.

VIII  We bless  ASHA the strong.  I invoke the Friendship of  ASHA.

IX Whether You are, o Holy ASHA ! on the heights around which the Stars, the Moon and the Sun revolve, we do invoke, we bless You, o ASHA ! who are so strong, and we invoke Your friendship. X Whether You are, o Holy ASHA ! in the bright and glorious Stars,  we invoke, we bless You, o ASHA ! who are so strong,  we invoke Your Friendship.

XI May You be, o Holy ASHA ! in the sovereign endless Light ! We invoke, we bless  ASHA, who are so strong, and we invoke Your Friendship. XII May You be, o Holy ASHA ! in the bright, all-happy and blissful abode of the Holy Ones ! We invoke, we bless You, ASHA, who are so strong, and we invoke Your Friendship !”

[And Ahura Mazda spoke:]

XIII I bless the Invocation and Harmony, the strength and the vigor of  ASHA, who makes the World grow, who makes the World increase, and I bless the true-spoken Sound, that makes the World prosper.
