SPENTOMAD GÂTHÂ

YASNA XLVII

I And to this man [the Ashavan, Good Man] Ahura Mazda will give both the two greatest gifts : His universal Weal and Immortality, by means of His bountiful Spirit, and with His Best Mind, due to His desire to maintain His Cosmic Order in Word and Deed, and by the strength and wisdom of His Cosmic Sovereign Power.

II And by such wise beneficence He is the Father of the Cosmic Order within our worship and in our lives.

III Only the simple man does give freely and without any obligation to Your Ashavan ; but the inferior man, who already does have wealth and ruling power, remains at the service of the wicked. IV Far remote from Your Love, the wicked man keeps taking his portion, and keeps acting according to the evil mind !

V By Your bounteous Spirit and by Your Holy Fire, by the prosperous increase of the Cosmic Order, You will teach the many ones who still are to come, in search of Your Kingdom.

YASNA XLVIII

I For, to an enlightened man, the Best of Teachings is that, which the beneficent Ahura does proclaim, and he is full of blessing and wise with His Intelligence, through the revelations of His Order. II This person, who thus has become like You, O Mazda ! will then be endowed with the Understanding Thought of Your Good Mind.

III How shall I seek the open helpers for the spread and maintenance of Your Good Order, while I myself find my life in the Good Deeds of Your Good Spirit ?

IV Who shall be the ones that will give us peace and quietness from the inferior man, who leads his evil life in faithlessness ? V, and to who shall the sacred wisdom of Your Good Mind come, to guide them ? VI Such people shall they be, who through the Grace of Your Good Mind, shall go on, hand in hand, with mental keenness, by doing every Deed according to Your commandment, O Ahura ! through the help of, and in accordance with Your Holy Order : ASHA !

YASNA XLIX

I For every man of piety is a wise citizen in accordance with the Holy Order ; and so are they all, who are, in truth within Your Realm, O Lord ! II And as we speak it forth as taught by ASHA, then let the zealous followers give heed, and with Your Good Mind, O Ahura Mazda ! Yea, let them give ear in accordance with the dictate of Your Holy Order.

III But as the evil ones, the souls of the evil dead, shall meet those evil men who serve their rulers, who speak with evil words, and harbor evil consciences, those souls shall come, and verily, in the abode of falsehood [the place of eternal darkness, Hell] their dwelling shall be, with evil food and thought !

YASNA L

I We are in readiness to declare Your Words, O Ahura Mazda ! through Your Grace and in accordance with Your Holy Order, since You do advance with friendliness, to cheer the speaker of Your Word. 

II I, Zarathustra, as faithful friend,  in accordance with the Holy Order, and giver of Understanding,  do proclaim and teach all good things  in accordance with Your  Good Mind, as my Law !

III Your Holy Works : the Stars, the Suns, and the Aurora which brings on the Light of Days, they are all, through their  Cosmic Order,  speaking Your praise, O You Great Giver, O Lord !
