Ahura Mazda ! most
beneficent
Spirit, Creator of the
material World, You
Holy One !II

seems to the
Soul of the
Faithful one as if he were
inhaling the
most
sweet-scented
Wind with his
nostrils; and he
thinks :
From where does
that
Wind
blow, the
sweetest-scented
Wind that
l ever
inhaled with
my nostrils ? IV
And it seems to
him as if his
own
Conscience were
advancing to
him in that Wind. And She, being
his own
Conscience,
answers him : "O, you
youth of
good
Thoughts, good
Words and
good Deeds:
I am
your own
Conscience !
V The first
step that
the
Soul of the
Faithful Man did
make,
placed him in
the
Good
Thought

The second
step that the
Soul of the
Faithful Man did
make,
placed him in
the
good Word Paradise. VII
The third
step that the
Soul of the
Faithful Man
did
make,
placed him in
the good
Deed Paradise. VIII
The fourth
step that the
Soul of the
Faithful Man
did
make,
placed him in
the
endless Lights !"
