Marcel Bourgondien 2nd male, Jolanda de Zeeuw 1th female,
Chavert ter Maat 1th male and Gerard Visser 3rd male.
Despite the questional weatherconditions we had a task on saterday.
A radius of 10 km was set around the
launch to function as a startline. Around that same point we had a
cilinder with a 40 km radius to function as finishline. Time started
running as soon as the competitor crossed the 10 km line and stopt
when he passed the 40 km line.
Chavert ter Maat proved to be the fasted
that day crossing the 30 km speed section in 36 minutes and 56 seconds,
beating Marcel Bourgondien with only 31 seconds. Third was Gerard Visser
with a time of 43 min and 55 sec.
Joost Visschedijk flew the biggest
distance that day, but that didn't count in this task. He landed in
Spakenburg near Amersfoort.
Dispite
the beautiful sunny day the wind was on certain moments close to the
limit. After some scary moments for a few pilots the
meetdirection ended the task before the startwindow was closed, to
prevent accidents from happening. 13 pilots made their own decission
not to fly that day, which can never be a bad decission when
paragliding.
On
sunday the weather was completly different. Grey sky, no sun and a
little rain in the morning. The day was cancelled at 10:00 am.
