In any case where the FAI Section 7 and the Dutch Open Local Rules are not sufficient,
the Britsh Local Rules will be applied.

We have completed the Local Rules for the Dutch Open 2005 and made some minor changes.
Please take notice of the new Local Rules 2005.
Pilots will be ask to sign at registration for acceptance of these Local Rules.

The pilot registration will only take place on Saturday, July 2nd in Piedrahita and not just before the start of the competition on Sunday.
TAKE CARE FOR THIS CHANGE IN THE LOCAL RULES !!!

The maximum number of competitors is reached. Registration is still possible and the first paying pilots are in competition!!!
The pilots are ranked on payment date and will be presented (in alphabetic order) on the confirmation list.
The first 90 Non-Dutch and first 30 Dutch paying pilots can compete. So take care of a short time fee payment!!

The maximum number of competitors is set on March, 31th (31.03.2005) |
The maximum number of competitors is set to 120 pilots. The number of Dutch competitors is set to 30 pilots and the remaining 90 places are available for non-Dutch competitors.
The order of confirmation (payment date of entrance fee) decides about the order of the first 30 and 90 pilots. See Competition Rules.
In case of less than 30 Dutch competitiors the 120 pilots will be completed with Non-Dutch pilots. If more than 30 Dutch pilots want to compete they are preferred above the Non-Dutch pilots.
Additional Local Rules are comping up soon with more information about the Dutch Open 2005. They will be presented in a addendum.

Announcement place and date DutchOpen 2005 !! (18.11.2004) |

The DutchOpen 2005 will take place in Piedrahita, Avila - Spain, about 100km. north-west from Madrid.
Piedrahita is a parapente mekka for paragliders from all over Europe.
Many records have been broken here. On a perfect day cloudbase can be up to 4000 mtrs.
Planned date is the 3th till the 8th of July 2005. The well known Steve Ham will assist us organizing the game.
