     Thin Wires

    1.
Creating a high-tech interface most likely will require you to have some small wires on it. This tutorial explains how to create these wires.
    2.
Create a new layer. Select the Paintbrush tool and set its Opacity to 100% and and its size brush to three pixel. Set foreground color to the color you want your wires to be.

Now, draw a couple of wires. Do not draw straight wires because this won't allow you to see the 3D effect very well.
    3.
Load selection from the wires layer. Create a new layer. Offset the selection one pixel up and left. Fill the selection with white using the Paint Bucket tool. Set Blending Mode to Color Dodge.
    4.
To give wires bending effect, use the Airbrush tool with a soft brush. Create a new layer and set its mode to Soft Light. Paint with black to give pieces of the wire a depressed look. Create another layer and set its mode to Color Dodge. Paint with white to give pieces of the wire a raised look.
