Base Rust Texture

1. How would you like to have a texture which could be used in so many ways for creating a rusty-dirty interface? The texture is very easy to build and using different variations you have endless possibilities. |

2. Fill background with R:51, G:42, B:41 using the Paint Bucket tool. |

3. Create a new channel. Add Noise (Filter > Noise > Add Noise) with Amount set to 999 and Gaussian Distribution. |

4. Apply Gaussian Blur filter (Filter > Blur > GaussianBlur) with Radius set to 0.5 pixels. Load selection from the channel. |

5. Create a new layer and fill selection with R:82, G:68, B:60 using the Paint Bucket tool. Set layer's Opacity to 50%. |

6. Create a new channel. Add Noise (Filter > Noise > Add Noise) with Amount set to 80 and Gaussian Distribution. Load selection from the channel. |
