Signals Collection WW2 by PA0PZD

!! 24/07/2011 - UPDATE - Site sections added: R1082, R1116A, EZ6 !!

My collection consists of communication equipments used by German, English, Canadian, American and Japanese forces around World War 2.

The whole collection is shown in 2 parts: airforce and army/navy. By clicking on these sections on the left, I show you my various radio equipment.

The most important part of my collecting is the RAF aircraft equipment, especially the equipment used by the wireless operator and navigator in the Lancaster bomber.

Note that the different country flags are the flags of today. This is done on purpose because I have no intention to sympothyse with that nations in that period, especially the Japanese and German regimes.

Above is my favorite Lancaster installation. All set up in a homebrew mock-up.
It is in a fully working condition on the amateurbands at 80- and 40 meters wavelength. Powered by the original dynomotor supply units.
Behind the transmitter- and receiver panel is the navigatorsection with GEE, API, GPI and navigator table.

My amateur callsign is PA0PZD.

The picture on the right is me in my Lancaster wireless operator office, working with the T 1154 transmitter.
