Story: Based on the novel "The wives of Bath" this film tells the story of three adolescent girls' first love, their discovery of sexual passion, and their search for identities. Mary arrives at Perkin's girls college, a boarding school in Quebec, where Paulie and Victoria are her roommates. Mary finds out thetwo girls are lovers. Victoria, however, breaks the relationship off, unwilling to risk upsetting her posh, conservative family. Paulie tries in every possible way to save their love. The story ends tragically.
