1996: 5th WPC Utrecht, The Netherlands.
The 5th World Puzzle Championship was held in Utrecht, and was won by Robert Babilon (Czech Republic). Best team was the team of the United States.

This was also the first time that a Dutch National Round was held. The first ever Dutch Champion was Paul Jacobs, who finished 6th in the WPC. The Dutch National Round results are also available.
