1999: 8th WPC Budapest, Hungary.
The 8th World Puzzle Championship was held in Budapest, and was won by Wei-Hwa Huang (USA), for a third time in a row. Best team was the team of the United States.

Puzzles of this championship are published in Worldclass puzzles from the World Puzzle Champioships Volume 2.
Also a Dutch version is published by Tirion and Puzzelsport under the title "Wereldpuzzels". It also contains the Dutch preliminary and final round puzzles and some puzzles of the Hungarian national round. (ISBN 90-4390-025-7)
