I have been windsurfing for over 20 years .
And after a session in Augustus 1997 on deadman's point,maasvlakte i broke my mastfoot,and drifted away from the shoreline,in 45 minutes i was 3,5 km out at sea
overthere a helicopter from the police picked me up,this is how i got my nickname.
After a while i overcame the fear and the need for waves was too strong so i decided to keep on surfing,never regretted that for a moment.
