The green and peaceful suburban town of Amstelveen and the southern suburb of Amsterdam is situated immediately south of Amsterdam.

Amstelveen is considered as the top location close to Amsterdam. Lots of parks and woods and adjecent to Amsterdam, it offers a lot of living pleasure. Directly connected to the A10 ringroads, you're in Schiphol in a jiffy. Speedtram/Subway nr. 51 brings you to Amsterdam Central Station within 15 minutes.

Amstelveen's botanic gardens are famous for their wild Dutch plants and the area is a stone's throw from the park and recreation areas of the Amsterdamse Bos (Amsterdam Woods) and the Nieuwe Meer (New Lake). Amstelveen has one of the largest shopping malls, with shops like Bijenkorf, V&D, and lots of others.
