15. Bronze figure of Puspa

This bronze figure is a copy of one of the Vajrad Hatu Mandala or the so-called Ngan Juk bronzes, which were made in the 10th and 11th century in East Java. About a hundred pieces from this collection were discovered in the 19th century.

This copy is twice the size of the original statue, made of fine quality bronze with a great feeling for detail.

Puspa is her name, which means the one who offers flowers.
