New Zealand Local Lingo Quiz

Sunday 12th March 2006/SM

It's a rainy Sunday (the first of many, I suspect, as autumn approaches) so we've found a cheap internet cafe in this little coastal town on the Coromandel Peninsula to play around on computers while it rains outside. Over the last few weeks, we've compiled a list of words that have been tickling us since arriving in NZ. Have a go at figuring them out - see if you're suitable Antipodean material!

There are one or two little bugs with the page that I haven't been able to iron out (no time nor motivation!) - you'll see what I mean. Mostly the page works ok though. Any Javascript code solutions gratefully received (Piet?!?).
