Wednesday 16 April Paris - NL
At around 7:00 we fly across the Italian Po planes. The sun is just up. The plains are completely covered by clouds and then suddenly the clouds make way for the snow-capped mountains in the morning sun. Seldom seen them so beautiful. Then we get to the Geneva lake and the rest of France is cloudless.
The pilot has made up for some of the time lost during the Mombassa stop and we're in time to catch the Thalys. And we can get euro's from an ATM. It is a confident feeling to have enough money, and to be able to get to it.
